Our client, an International player within the hospitality sector, is seeking to recruit a chief engineer for its operations in North Africa. 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist in planning, developing, coordination, and management of onsite construction engineering activities. On completion of the project,  his duties will include the setting up of a maintenance department and efficiently planning all activities with the engineering and maintenance departments. Once project is operational, he will have to ensure the safety standards are in line with established standards, monitoring all technical operations in and around the property,  upkeep of equipment, analysing costs, and working within budgeted controls.

Minimum Qualifications:

This post calls for a mature, personable, presentable candidate who will be able to communicate confidently at all levels. A degree in Mechanical engineering coupled with a minimum of 10 years experience within the hotel industry  is required. Experience in reverse osmosis and sewage plants would also be beneficial. Fluency in either French or Arabic would be necessary. Candidate must be capable of working in a team based development environment.
