An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional Business development Manager with an International company within its North African operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the setting up, development  and management of a newly set up subsidiary involved in construction.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can make a significant contribution of the development of new business, including prospective clients, assessing new markets, analysing business opportunities and supervising staff on the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

This post calls for a mature and responsible person seeking to fill a challenging and rewarding role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent coupled with a minimum of 10 years experience of construction of large projects. Proven business acumen (preferably MBA) of financial and contract management, profit & loss statements, marketing expertise, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and familiarity with engineering and project management concepts, practices and procedures also required. Prior ‘large team’ management experience highly desirable. Knowledge of Arabic would be considered an asset.
